Forget Me Not Cafe

The Forget Me Not Cafe run by Dementia Friendly Oakwood is held monthly, in the Community Centre on the park.  Our guests and carers enjoy socialising with chat, games, craft, singing, bingo and loads of laughter and cake! 

We frequently have entertainers who always get our guests singing along and we have enjoyed visits from therapy animals including a miniature horse, a pony, guinea pigs and even owls.

We are able to run the cafe thanks to support from many local businesses as well as our local community and our volunteer team's fundraising efforts.  It is free to attend but we welcome donations for refreshments.  If you, or anyone you know would like to join us, please give us a call on the number below and we can answer any questions you may have and let you know our cafe dates.

Please note, we are not a drop-in cafe.  To keep numbers to a comfortable limit for our guests we ask that you make contact with us prior to joining.  Should we be at full capacity, we are happy to add you to our waiting list if you do wish to come along.
